Job Description
The Cloud Operations Manager is responsible for managing the operations and IT delivery aspects of hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Involves managing staff directly assigned and coordinating within the IT Department and supporting vendors for design, troubleshooting and daily operations including Services Provisioning, Monitoring, Service Level Agreements, Capacity Quotas and Server Operations (Windows & Linux). Responsible for Incident, Request and Change Management processes as well as Backups and Information Security Auditing. This involves resource allocation to project and portfolio initiatives, goal management, skill management, performance reviews, and retention management. Responsible for department recruiting and staffing activities as well as disciplinary and termination management. Sources contractors and consultants from 3rd party vendors to supplement the necessary skills needed to achieve departmental goals. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Accomplish Information Technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Performs resource planning, allocation, availability and coverage associated with hybrid and multi-cloud environments; anticipate future demands and account for changing demands as needed.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and support delivery outcomes.
Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
Support staff by helping them be successful in two key areas: meeting their project commitments and helping them to discover and achieve their potential in the organization and company.
Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and scheduling training for employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth
Implement and schedule a 90/360 evaluation program for IT staff.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelors
IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
7 - 10 Years
5+ years as a Solution Architect within hybrid and/or multi-cloud environments. Information technology with supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters/MBA
Information Systems or Computer Science
10 Years +
7+ years as a Solution Architect. Information technology within the foodservice industry. Supervisory / management experience.
Preferred Professional Certification(s):
Microsoft,Linux and/or Cloud Certifications related to Azure or other platforms
